Support Us

This spring, Kaleid will continue the process that they started this fall, when they presented Tuesday, November 8 at the Fleischer Art Memorial as part of the Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival. The work will continue to reflect on events as they unfold this winter as it explores the landscape of hate in space and in the body.

How Can I help?

Well, Kaleid does need money

Donations will help us cover costs such as space rental, equipment rentals, insurances, and marketing costs and artists stipends. Kaleid is dedicated to keeping production costs low, to prioritize paying artists for their craft, work, and time.

We would love it if you could come to our show

At the end of the day, our work is for our audiences. It also depends on our audiences. Our work is about asking questions together so that we can all learn a little more about our world. The more people we get to ask those questions with, the more we can learn from each other. So while our aim is that our work always supports you, you can also support our work, and our communities.

You can Tell Your Friends

Even if you can’t donate and/or attend the show, you can support us by spreading the word. In fact, we would be honored if you would. Linking to our stuff on your website or FB or blog will really help us.

One More Time: Who is Kaleid?

Kaleid Theatre (as in kaleidoscope, as in collide) is a physical theatre ensemble that explores contemporary questions that our communities are asking right now. From investigating the possibility of a female narrative in a world that aggressively markets what a woman really “should be,” to unpacking what our use of technology says about real human needs, Kaleid’s work is dedicated to actively asking questions with those around us.

About The Ensemble
